TeamJobs EV Charge points

Team Jobs, a prominent recruitment agent in Poole, with several staff and a growing fleet of Electric Vehicles, required us to add more EV charge points in their site car parks.

The Brief

Client already had two existing units for their fleet and required two further EV charge points. They were keen to take advantage of the government funded EV workplace grants that are available. However, the electrical supply coming into the property would not accommodate this request, so we had to come up with an alternative.

Our Solution

We removed the redundant chargers and installed two new Rolec ‘Twin’ Commercial Smart charge points which qualified with the EV workplace grant/vouchers with the ability to load manage all four charger stations so as not to overload the supply capacity to the premises.

A new dedicated distribution board was installed due to the existing board not having the space to accommodate this installation.

These are ‘smart’ meaning you have ultimate control and to prevent unauthorised usage

Once installed and powered up, points were all checked and confirmed, remotely commissioned with the back office software company over the phone, EV Charge Online in this case.

It was left with the Client to contact EV Charge Online to activate the workplace account and gain all the necessary info on the app usage or web browser log in for the authorised users of the charge points.
